Vaseegara

Vasikhara yen nejinikae,
Unn ponn madiyil thunginaal pothum,
Athae ganam yen kann uranga,
Mun jenmangalin yekanggal theerum,

I want him (the man) to surrender and enjoy that moment of love. Enjoy its sweetness and not think beyond it.

This is a book about the great patrons of Kathakali, the great human beings  who were blessed with the wisdom to understand and appreciate  Kathakali and "liberate" their souls even when they were alive with this  God's very own phantasy in  poetry and music. (Please read the explanation of Kathakali as a " Phantasy of written oral and audio visual poesy" by Sri Appu kuttan Nair) This book is an on line effort to recognise their efforts to uplift, modernise and popularise Kathakali as an art form and  its preservation and recognition. Please add your words of appreciation and comments to the pages and any interesting information you may have. If you have a new person to suggest, please add a NEW page for that person. It will be great if you could provide photos, audio and visdeo clips about the personality.
